Northeast Rafting provides all the equipment needed for whitewater rafting! Including self-bailing rafts, type V life jackets, helmets, paddles, and safety equipment.
Not included: Wetsuits are available for rent at an additional cost and are required on some whitewater rafting trips depending on the time of year.
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to get signed in, make sure waivers are signed, and to make sure you have everything you need for the day! Northeast Rafting has a retail store onsite where you can purchase water shoes, towels, Aqua Cases, river shirts, and much more!
Every raft on a Northeast Rafting whitewater trip is guided by a Registered Maine Whitewater Guide. Additional guests may join your group depending on your group and raft size.
Northeast Rafting provides the transportation to and from Northeast Rafting and the Kennebec River put in.
There is a $7.48 road access fee for the Kennebec River and a State of Maine head fee. This amount is added to your total at checkout.
Northeast Rafting displays a photo slideshow at the end of each trip. Photos are available for purchase and are sent to you electronically via email. You can purchase individual photos from your boat or the whole package! Visit here to purchase your raft trip photos!
Inflatable Kayaks are available for rent on Kennebec River trips. After rafting the upper Kennebec River Gorge, you can get out of the raft and adventure out in your own inflatable kayak on the calmer section of the river. Limit 2 inflatable kayaks per raft of 8.

Sport Rafts are available for rent! Sport Rafts are the smallest rafts on the river, which makes everything look and feel bigger. Sport rafts guarantee that you will have your own private raft, and are guided by the most experienced Northeast Rafting whitewater guides. We offer both 4- and 6-person private rafts.
