Maine river tubing is an excellent option for those that are looking for a more relaxing on the water experience!

A great half day activity to add on to your Maine vacation itinerary, and perfect for families with younger kiddos that aren’t quite ready to take on a whitewater adventure just yet.

Take in the spectacular views and fresh air as you float leisurely down the river. Choose to float on your own or tether your group together, it’s up to you! We provide the shuttle transportation, PFDs, and a safety speech. Tubing is a self-guided activity.

All tubing trips begin at the Northeast Rafting & Tubing base in West Forks, Maine. You’ll check in at our base where you can grab a snack, drinks, and adult beverages to carry with you down the river. If you are looking to bring these items with you, we highly recommend renting an additional tube for your cooler. We also recommend grabbing an Aqua Case from our retail shop before you head out on your adventure! You never know what wildlife you might spot along the river, or capture some great family photos while making sure your phone is protected.

The best part of tubing with us? Northeast Rafting & Tubing is the most convenient spot for tubing! No transportation to the put in is needed, we are located just steps away from the put in. We’ll pick you up at the takeout and bring you right back to our base. If you didn’t pack a lunch you can walk on over to the Hawks Nest restaurant – The perfect spot to enjoy views of the Dead River and a delicious meal.
